2 General Description
The ROD is a high-speed data source with limited intelligence and a simple protocol connection to the ROB-IN (e.g. XOFF, but no handshaking).
The ROB Controller is a processor based system (probably a RIO 2).
The ROB-OUT will probably be connected to the ROB-IN via a commercial data path such as PCI.
