Fibre Channel Upgrade from FC version 3.0 to FC version 4.3.

All the Fibre Channel equipment available at CERN on the 24th of April 1995 has been upgraded to 4.3 Fibre Channel Standard. Below is an overview of the different types of interfaces that are constituting our heterogeneous Fibre Channel Architecture (in parenthesis are the workstations in which these interfaces are located):

• 2 ANCOR-MCA FC interfaces (IBM RS/6000-250, IBM RS/6000-590),
  
• 2 IBM-MCA FC interfaces (IBM RS/6000-41T),
  
• 3 ANCOR-EISA FC interfaces (HP/9000-735).
