1 Introduction

1.1 Purpose of the document

The purpose of this document is to define the User Requirements for the ATLAS Read-out Buffer Input Module (ROB-IN). It describes the functions which must be carried out by the ROB-IN as seen from the point-of-view of the users of the ROB-IN.
